April 10-12, 2020. POSTPONED
Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA
Comic book−related pop culture is the focus, and numerous panels from the top people at DC Entertainment, a long-time sponsor, are featured. The exhibit hall blends the large corporate publishers such as DC Entertainment, Dark Horse Comics, and Boom! Studios with independent books in a Small Press area and Artists’ Alley. Although it’s sister convention is the massive San Diego Comic-Con International, WonderCon is not nearly as crowded, yet still attended by a number of Industry leaders and professionals. It offers a greater opportunity to get into many high-quality panels.
Similar to San Diego Comic-Con International, yet on a smaller scale. TV and movie studios present previews of new shows, sneak peeks of upcoming episodes, and panel discussions with show creators as well as the actors. It is uncommon for a show creator (aka showrunner/executive producer) to attend a panel at a con other than WonderCon Anaheim or San Diego Comic-Con International.
2020 Ticket and Hotel Prices
NOTE: Discounts for junior, seniors and military. Children 12 and under are free.
Unofficially, the Hilton Anaheim lobby/bar area is often the gathering place after the exhibit hall has closed in the evenings.
